"nature always springs to the surface and manages to show what she is. it is vain to stop or try to drive her back. she breaks through every obstacle, pushes forward, and at last makes for herself a way"
I run into this quote by nicolas boileau the other day and made me think of the many photos i took in cambodia during my visit to the angkor temples and how unquestionable and true this quote is.

roaming around the ruins i was amazed at the size and beauty of these temples nestled in the forest among giant trees that with their massive roots seem to be hugging or strangling the stonework. the forest setting, the impressive trees and the quiet atmosphere just enhanced the mysterious grandeur of the temples. it was an unforgettable experience and i wanted  to share some of the photos with you.
